Greetings all,
My name is Berndt Savig and I was introduced to the Baren Forum by Paul de Jode. Presently I am an assistant professor in art and am planning on becoming more involved in printmaking when school lets out this next month. I have enjoyed viewing the prints and looking at some of the forum discussions, though I have yet to figure out how to join them...
I am wondering if there is anyone who would be interested in a four or five day camping/printmaking get together in Colorado? Just throwing it out there as a possibility. There would be room to work on prints, but tents would be necessary for sleeping accomodations.

Welcome to the group. Any friend of Paul's is a friend of mine - and Baren's. The best way to join this group is just to jump right in and ask questions, peruse the encyclopedia on the web site and use the archives to look a few things up; like which tools to get to get started.
I think you'll find it easier to go to the homepage: barenforum.org, look for Join or Leave Baren, join whichever suits you best, I happen to like the digest (that way I only get one email a day.) Sharri

Hi Berndt,
was wondering if you ever you finished my painting from High School?? I live in West Virginia now and was going through our yearbook, and remembered when I sat for you in your family studio. Hope all is well.
