Matsumura-san inherited
his family lumber business some years ago, but was
not satisfied with keeping it as it was - he soon
opened a 'sub-store' in their office to deal with
printmaking supplies. (Perhaps you can guess what
his hobby is ...)
Over the past decade or so he has established a
reputation as 'the' place to go in Japan for
general print-making supplies. He carries a full
line of tools and materials - everything necessary
for contemporary woodblock printmaking.
His 'target' market is both professional and
hobby printmakers both in Japan and overseas, but
his lack of English ability means that he has not
been able to do much away from his home territory.
[Baren] is very happy that he has been willing to
allow us to act as his overseas agent.
