- a woodcut in three blocks
- mauve-spruce plywood
- ochre-spruce plywood
- umber-birch plywood
- on Tableau paper
- in oil based Van Son inks
- hand rubbed with a teflon baren
I printed the two background colors and let them dry before
printing the key block last. The blocks are not exactly the same
size mauve being the least wide causing a crease to happen on the
left vertical - oh well! the LYNX has to have somewhere to jump off
the paper... she's coming thru that crease!
Lynx.... Native American teaching says - brother or sister lynx
can teach you of your personal power, and of things you have
forgotten about yourself. Seldom seen, lynx populations fluctuate
with that of the snowshoe hare.
