Comments: I am facinated by the patterns on the back and wings of a Loon. As most of my recent work involves some sort of patterning with a realistic image I thought..why not! So I focused soley on the patterns and forgot about the realistic image. By splitting the image up into a triptic, it further pushes the pattern-only concept when viewed individually, but seen together creates a cohesive image. And maybe a hint of realisic abstraction. Anyway, it was a lot of fun-unlike some recent prints-and I LOVE having a little press to print on instead of using my brass doornob. Huge upgrade!
