Andrew - I've always used a spray bottle. I got mine at the dollar store. You will find different papers take different amounts of spraying. I've been finding
that after putting them in the freezer they seem dryer too. I don't
know why since they are in plastic. And the sprayer comes in handy if the block starts to dry out.
Unlike Annie I don't stagger the paper until I'm ready to print.

Sorry for the second post.
I don't use newsprint either. I use 2 white blotters, spray those, spray each piece of paper, put between the blotters, wrap in plastic. Just an FYI, the blotters seem to mold quicker than the paper. If I print for more than 3-4 days without freezing the damp pack, I have to change the blotters.
Doesn't newsprint transfer ink?

Greetings all,
We are just back from a cousins birthday bash in Berlin, Germany and as usual my sketchbook for new ideas was in top gear.
However, my main inspiration : the Kunstgewerbemuseum (Decorative arts museum) was closed for renovation.
This is not a problem with 15 years of previous notes and sketches.
I have uploaded my latest prints from last years visit based on sketches of 13c Persian tiles.
