Larry,
I would get white interleaving or glassine to store between the prints in boxes or envelopes, the paper in the envelope will not be acid free...I worry a bit about black paper...I have no experience with black acid free paper.
Otherwise this is fine...It is a problem and I have hundreds of works stored in boxes and presentation books. Once it goes into storage, I find I don't look at it very often...but on the other hand, it is safe! The interleaving will keep prints from ever sticking together.
I understand that if work is waterlogged from some type of horrible thing happening that conservators freeze it until they can separate the paper...I think that is interesting...insurance to freeze paper. Wonder if we have that??? I think most Museums have this type of insurance.
My best
Barbara

Same address as listed and that's safe through the summer. I was worried that if prints went out late, which I know they do, I might have moved, since I do tend to move every year or two. Anyone who hasn't sent out the dragons yet, feel free to write down my email address. I didn't realize when I submitted the form that you wouldn't be able to see my email.

Thanks for checking.

Congratulations Maria and your band of very able helpers for another
wonderful puzzle print printing party in Portland. It was lovely to
see so many names on the blocks I could put faces to this time and
others I have known for a long time. Well done. Unfortunately I
wasn't able to participate this time but I'll be looking forward to the
next one Maria and I may even fly over to help print it.

Congratulations to you all,
Jan Telfer

With all the frantic work on the 'Arts of Japan' first print ... the wooden cases ... and the new tool set going on, I have been remiss in bringing you an update on what Tsushima-san has been up to since she completed her Hokusai surimono reproduction a few weeks ago.

We of course put her to work straight away on another one, and she has been beavering away at it since then. Here's a snapshot from her workbench this afternoon:
