I just received (actually a few days ago) beautiful Tiger prints from Carol Montomery and Bea Gold. Great colors and spirited happy tigers galore--they both look like moku hanga and I love seeing what others can do with this.

I just wanted to say how grateful I am to this forum. My first two "Year of... prints" were prompted by this exchange although in my usual, procrastinating, indecisive self, I never actually entered by the deadline so I couldn't participate and they went to friends instead;
but it was the YEAR OF THE BOAR that got me motivated to start printing and the BAREN archives, uploaded exchanges, library, etc. have been an invaluable resource for both instruction, inspiration, and just overall good company these last 3 years.

Thanks again to all of Baren.
SIncerely,
Andrew Stone

I think this is a link to the gallery of all my finished woodblocks to date more or less in reverse chronological order.

I'm not sure if this represents a "body of work" but seeing them all together makes me smile.

hi everyone
forgive me....this isnt a question about woodblocks, but i figured if anyone would have an answer for this it would be here on the baren.
at some point i have to take a lithography class but as an online student i dont have access to a litho press. does anyone know of any way to convert an etching press so that lithography can be done on it?
thanks for any and all help

Thank you for nice words. Yes my print is moku hanga and it was great fun doing it. Thanks again, Bea Gold

No, but I am about to take a waterless lithography class, and will let you know if results are comprable. An etching press is used in printing this style of print.

Good luck though
