Yeah just like that, in fact, I just make it part of my morning routine
now...brush my teeth, comb my hair, tie a new baren cover, go for a walk...
;-)

Oh what a pretty surprise when I came home this evening and found the
self adressed envelope! I couldn't wait to see the other prints and
spent a time to study them. It is the first time I took part in the
[baren] exchange and must say that it is a great experience. A
widespread collection of 28 wonderful pieces of graphic art. Thank you
Bareners, and thank you Eileen for your great job as coordinator.

Best regards

I received the Gatto’s tiger! (in my language “gato” is cat… *smile… a tiger
maid by a cat!)
And also the ox from Claudia Coonen, Larry Phelps and Dale Phelps.

I think Dale did a Brazilian Bumba meu Boi…
I was very touched with the letter and the print!

Thanks a lot all
Kisses

Subject: [Seacoast in Spring - 11] - Proof variations ...
Posted by: Dave Bull

I mentioned that I would show some of the proof stages, so here they are. A couple of notes:

  • most of these were not intended as 'finished' (possible) prints; they were made to experiment with some particular feature (or with something 'left out' so that other parts would be clear)
  • they were made in pairs, as you see them here, and in this order. The first pair was the very first 'run-through' with the blocks

Another little goodie from the kitchen series I'm working on. Still a work in progress, but coming along quickly!

Subject: extending my print into another panel and helpful cat
Posted by: Georgina

I have started another panel. This one is not so free form as the other and I have thought about it for a while, trying to work out a good face for the woman. Anyhow I was working quiet well (in front of the TV) when Minty decided to help! Really that was the end of it for tonight.

I wanted a serious but contemplative look and pose. I was not intending to do multiple panels but fortunately this one is growing of its own accord which is good because I am not struggling for ideas.
