I loved your work!
Congratulations and success !

Exchange 43 is still a ways off but I thought I would put a suggestion out
there. Apropos of these wonderful links to the Tibetan Buddhist woodblock
printmaking, I wonder if some would welcome an exchange focused on
typography. Images could be allowed but the main object of the carving would
be letters.
I love to doodle letters and numbers. I was thinking yesterday how humans
are distinct from other animals in that they draw (please correct me if I'm
wrong!) which is half a step away from writing. Arabic writing esp has a
tradition of beautiful stylization. Drawing, writing, maybe we could
celebrate that link. (Perhaps there has been an exchange like this in the
past?)
Peace, Eileen
I heard/saw a demo by Walt Padgett at the Schnitzer Museum at the U.of
O. Thoroughly enjoyed it. He was wearing a McClain's apron. Plus,
there's an exhibit of Japanese prints up right now until Sept. 13. If
you are anywhere near, don't miss it.
