Interesting, Terry. All I can say then is that it carves well enough
and I am enjoying it. Guess maybe i should take it to the city and
see if i can get time to stop by the wood store and ask them what I
have. Thanks for the input.

Thanks to everyone for your interesting and helpful hints on
international shipments.
"Printed material" -- of course!
And while I always thought labeling something "No value" or "Gift" but
insuring it at the same time might raise some sort of red flag, I'll
give it a go on my next painting going overseas.
