I have printed textured paper dry with oil based ink. I used a press
and it worked fine. Some times I have used card stock to print my new
years cards and that stuff does not dampen well. My year of the rat
was on textured card stock and printed dry. The ox will be on a
better quality paper because the husband wants me to use better stuff
and put them in an envelope. Okay slackers, we do want your cards,
they are fun to get any time. If any one failed to get my rat do let
me know, I have more. I won't be able to mail them until spring, I
could send any one missing one along with my ox.

Exchange #38 should have been received by everyone by now?
Gallery updated shortly.

Exchange #39
Deadline is looming near. Only four weeks left.
Participants please check the list as there are 28 participants.
This means you only have to send 29 prints, one for each participant and one
for the archive set.

Speaking of our brave coordinator, please communicate with her at
coordinator39@barenforum.org if you foresee any difficulty completing the
exchange on time.

Exchange #40
Sign up is now open to everyone, the list has just been updated.
I will be contacting the coordinator-elect (ha!) soon. Meantime, you might
as well get started on your prints, no?

Visa, Terry,

Know what you mean. Spent two weeks snowed in on our hill side... even art work palled when I knew that we couldn't get out .... and now we are trapped again ... roads are washed out all around us. Makes me wonder what goes on in the heads of people who are in prison. MMMM..... a new print series????

Barbara,
I'm looking forward to seeing this 'new print series' - I love what goes on in your head!
We have survived so far - last year this time our basement flooded (what a horrible mess!) but so far so good. The sewer district has recently installed a back-flow valve, so we should be okay even if it does rain this heavy again.
This weather is soo strange, two weeks ago we had a high of 18*F, today was in the 50's! That's the good thing about living in the Great Pacific Northwest - if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes, it will change.
