Renee-re:what adhesive to use in collaging with prints
i have done alot of big collages of woodcuts
usually glued to wood or acid free matte board
tthen i put a number of coats of water based polyurethane to seal it
i must admit to relative ignorance about the adhesives
i have used acrylic medium and a 3M spray stuff (with doors and windows
open)
both work but the spray stuff is MUCH easier especially with Large work
and seems to hold up well
i read about glues and also "release paper" but dont understand yet :-)
if anyone can shed light on a non- toxic spray adhesive
that is archival and enviromentally safe-
i would be quite pleased and informed

the oil base in did not affect the acrylic medium nor vis- versa (sp?)
