If your pins/hole punch are lower than your block, then theoretically you could just roll over the whole thing. Personally I always worry that the paper will get crinkled or something, so I tear my paper long enough that I can stop before going over the pins.

This link came in to my Inbox today from Google Alerts - a new page
with a video of the Chinese printing method:
http://chinavine.ucf.edu/dazhao/woodcut-work/

Unfortunately, the person taking the video wasn't thinking of you know,
actually letting people _understand_ the process, so they completely
missed shooting the part where each sheet, after printing, is dropped
down a slit in the table out of the way, so that the next sheet in the
stack can be printed.

But anyway, it's an interesting chance to peek at the process ...

If you watch closely you will see the sheet drop down in the slit in
the table.... or between the tables... at the very end of the clip.

Interesting indeed.... You gotta love those inking brushes...

Poor video taking... sort of home movie stuff. Would have been nice
to see the finished product.

Well, if you 'watch closely' you will see a link on the same page ...
'Gallery' ...

Amanda, you should be able to tape the pins on a bar that is almost
the height of your plate but whose combined height, plate plus pins,
is slightly lower than the plate. That way it won't matter if you
roll over the pins. What type of press are you using?
