Carol, those links didn't work for me either. I then deleted your name and got to the gallery site, but couldn't find any path to you. Is there one that I'm over looking?
Thanks,

What I've learned recently, is to do transfers with oil of wintergreen. You
take a photocopy (the toner is what transfers so print outs don't work) and
coat the back of the image using a Q-tip, then place it face down on the
block and run it through the press with extra newsprint to absorb the oil
and protect the blankets. Oil of wintergreen isn't toxic per se, but can be
an irritant to skin. Use in a ventilated area. (Like my kitchen with an open
window.)

The following link is to a photo of a new block with an image transfered
using the above method.

Dave,

I hope everything is okay where you are. I heard the damage in the north is pretty bad.

Didn't feel a thing down here in Tokyo ... I think the only [Baren]
member we have anywhere near that area is George Jarvis. He would have
felt it, I think, but I doubt there was much damage in his area.

My turn will come ...
