Hello Le: I am glad you are in Baren. Thank you for the advice for the mini-press. I will try thinner felts, dampening and thinner paper.
I visited your stonemetal studio at San Antonio with my family a few months ago. Congratulations, the people, the prints and the studio were great. I am planning to attend one of the workshops as soon as I can.
Greetings, Guadalupe
If any of you will be in Chicago for the Artropolis exhibition
I recommend that
you allow extra time to get to the Art Institute!
The Winslow Homer and Edward Hopper exhibits are large and
wonderful!
And don't miss the treasure of contemporary woodblock prints
from China in the gallery next to the Japanese woodblock prints.
They are incredible! Some of them are spoken about on this
British Gallery site:
scroll down.
They are large, exciting and spectacular prints! I also
recommend the book that accompanies the exhibit! "Chinese
Printmaking Today" by Anne Farrer.
The ceramics by Toshiko Takaezu are also magnificent!
It's a great time for a visit!

Hello everyone,
My ink supply has dwindled enough to justify replenishing it and I've been
waiting to test Guerra pigment dispersions. However, after viewing the chips
online, I'm not quite sure which are closest to pure CMY colors. The ones
that looked closest on the screen had different pigment identifiers than I
expected. Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks,
Alex
Thank you to Carol Lyons, I wil happily have an excuse to go back to the V&A, and explore their Research Library, the Museum used to be a very favorite haunt when I lived in London. I look forward to a treat.
