My first time with 12x16 shina...
although told by McClain's that warping won't happen if they are stored flat...
whether cut one side or both...
rumblings around the house insist that I post the question.
Is there any benefit to shellacing/sealing the edges of Shina?
After it's cut, what about sealing the surfaces then?
It's either hot and humid here, or bone dry....
should I be concerned about these boards
or is the fact that the grains run in the two directions
a stabilizing factor enough that there is nothing to worry about.
There..."rumblings" should be pacified....thanks...Linda
