The sign-up page for Exchange #33 is up to date at

* Medium: woodblock print (hand rubbed or pulled on a press, B&W or
colour, any pigments, any paper)
* Theme: Three colors (prints must be pulled from at least three
blocks using three or more colors)
* Paper size: Chu-tanzaku -- about 15 x 5 inches (13 x 39 cm)
* Registration period: One month starting April 1 , 2007
* Deadline for finished prints: August 1st , 2007

There are already 22 signed up for the exchange, so the next eight people
who sign up are guaranteed a place - complete details and rules are on the
sign-up page -read carefully before signing up, and please don't be
intimidated by the three color, three block theme - COLOR IS FUN and you'll
enjoy the challenge if you've never attempted this before. Just DO IT :-)

Hello all my printmaking friends!

In another shameless effort to promote printmaking around the world, I have created and built an easy to use website for printmakers to try and sell their prints on for FREE.
It is partnered with my physical gallery so can can get more exposure.

It is called "Hand pulled prints".

Not very original or a new idea, but hey... I will do anything to sell original prints and get the word out.

Check it out, I built it this week so all the bugs are not worked out yet but it is coming along nicely.

More blocks in from several of you. I will update the website this weekend,
I think I sent everyone a private email when I received the latest blocks.

PLEASE do NOT worry if your block is late. I know the deadline coincides
with Exchange 32 and the Baren Exchange is much more important in terms of
getting the prints in on time.

Don't overnight, don't worry, just carve your little blocks and send as soon
as you can.

By popular demand I have started a group for artists who engage in or are
interested in art festivals or generally in selling art. This way we keep
all that nasty commerce stuff off this and other printmaking and art lists.
Everyone is welcomed.
I promised I would publish a "tip o'the week", weekly, of course.
I know, like we need more email...sheesh!
