I don't know why none of my answers to the dilemma of the Alphabet
Exchange ever came through, I sent several, however, they were not from
my computer, so maybe that is why they didn't get through the Iron
Curtain of Protection. Anyway, here's the deal:
1) No one ever mentioned changing the size of the paper, aka as
"format". It remains its dictated size (see the rules on the Ex.
page).
2) What we DID decide was to leave a 1" margin on the left hand side of
the paper in order to enable those who wish to bind the exchange into
book form to do so without losing any of someone's image. This might
mean that your image would have to be a little off center on the paper.
Or if you are going to use the entire format, that you leave 1" on the
left hand side with no printing on it.
3) I am back from North Dakota with a really good cold (God Bless the
Airlines and Christmas Travel and the man behind me who sneezed for an
entire 3 hr. flight, I tried not to breathe, but it didn't work) and if
I sound short tempered I probably am and hope you will forgive me.
4) May I suggest that, in the future, exchange participants save any
correspondence that deals with the exchange into a folder within their
email program and refer back to it for details before designing and
printing their images? This has, so far, worked for me. (Except for
the time I forgot to tear down the paper after I'd finished printing.
gulp.)
