Barbara, you have a point there. People with experience in the art world have seen people give up and go do something else, when the going gets tough. People have to want to do art for it's own sake, even when they are not getting paid for it. Why give recognition and kudos to someone who is a flash in the pan? You are obviously in it for the long haul.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.
Don't squirm, but I have sent all my little piglets flying across the
Pacific accompanied with the Santa mail as it is cheaper for me to
hitch a ride on the sleigh! Please feed them on arrival as they will
be very tired and hungry by the time they reach you in about 10 days
flying time! Maybe not in time for Christmas lunch, but to celebrate
the New Year with you all!!

Hi Jean
> I was thinking about making a print about a pig that was living in my house and then his wife, whom I didn't know about, came and
>got him out of my house and then told everyone that I had kicked him out. He was a perfectly good pig, but he was already married
>to another pig, unfortunately for me.
This is really funny, Jean! I had to tell you. Sometimes it's good to think outside the box. I did think about being boring in 2007 but never thought about the kind of pigs you mentioned !!!! :o)
Just today I was looking over some of my favourite prints from #29 and I like what you did with your print. There's a lot packed into that small space - kind of like the chaos of modern (20th cent) art. I like it. Thanks.
The Muse has struck me -- so I will be in the Year of the Boar card exchange and I look forward to your and the other cards.

Just as well, Jan. Being of Cuban descent I would just as soon not have the
temptation of having little piggies come visit before Christmas lunch (we
call them "lechon" after they have roasted in a pit for about a half a day).
Oh, stop it everyone, all in jest...maybe...yummmmm ;-)
Happy holidays to everyone, think peaceful and happy thoughts.
