The Southern Graphics Council meetings are open to anyone interested in
printmaking. There is a fee for participating, this year the meeting is in
Kansas City and the dates are March 21 - 25, 2007. I have been to three now,
(Austin, Boston and Washington DC) and love meeting so many enthusiastic
printmakers. They have talks and exhibitions, and a keynote speaker who is
always someone you want to hear.

The meetings tend to be academically oriented, with university print
teachers and students involved, but there is enough variety to make them
interesting for the printmaking community in general. Attending the meetings
is a great way to connect with other printmakers.
