Hi Carolyn,
Thanks! I'll definitely check it out. I don't live very close to UT
anymore, so it's very hard for me to get there for classes, but I'm
getting motivated...LOL.

Hi all,
We are here! Sharri has a very bad cold and laryngitis, so it has been
pretty quiet in that corner - is this summit blessed, or what!
Pictures will be forthcoming - just as soon as someone has time to get
them out of their cameras and sent to that great whatever in the sky
that can then get them into your computer. Yesterday that Headline
Entertainer, Wanda Robertson, gave us a stunning demonstration on
printing Moku Hanga style. David would have been proud! This morning
we are looking forward to a paper dampening demo by the world famous
Frank Trueba and then after lunch and a teensy bit more work we will
head to McClain's Printmaking Paradise.
It is so quiet and restrained with this group (not) that yesterday we
had to pass the talking stick (popsicle) around during the demo so we
could get all the input and majorly good ideas.
We have been indulging sinfully in the most glorious homemade cinnamon
rolls provided by master chef Barbara Mason. She also made a semi
truck full of potato salad for lunch yesterday. We are spoiled. And we
would not have it any other way. Last night for dinner we had chicken
and pasta, wine, or veggies and pasta, wine, salad, wine, bread, wine,
and we finished the evening off with a sip of wine. We have all been
abnormally well behaved. Charles has been minding his manners and
brought his famous bottle press for us all to see. We are stunned and
amazed. You really have to see this thing - someone will get a photo
up, soon.
We are not having any fun, learning one single tidbit of anything, or
eating any good food, so you haven't missed a thing. LOL :-)
Wish you were here,
Sharri
Sharri, sounds like you guys are having a great time...and wine :-)
Is it red wine? Never mind...
I posted pics that Sharri sent me to the Baren Blog
http://barenforum.org/blog/
The first set of pictures is of the exhibition at the Bank Gallery.
Keep the reports and pictures coming, brave Summiteers. We wish we were
there too!

For those interested in artist-books, I have a web gallery of my own books at:
www.guerreroart.tk
Go to the English page and then choose ARTIST-BOOKS in the main menu. Some
of them are collaborative (poetry and prints), some are only prints, and
also some are very experimental, more visual than readable.
Enjoy,
Juan Guerrero

Julio,
Thanks for the warm welcome. Test scraps are a great idea, particularly
with the number of paper scraps I've got around! As far as showing the
group what I'm up to, I think I'll be ready for show-and-tell when I finish
this latest print. All told it should be by the end of the month.
Cheers,
Dan
