Thanks charles for the info. I have already been mixing powder pigment from the Baren Mall with alcohol and water, works great!!! I will check and see if the airlies will aloow me to fly wit the tint base from graphic chemical and if so that is a big help. Than I will be able to print both oila nd water here as now they think my oil based inks will blow up the airplane. Honestly I thinthese folks at the airlines need a little lesson in chemistry as oil inks are very different in content than oil paints. Oh well. I will give it a try. I love the hig intenseity I can get from the powdered pigments, so this tood info.

Dear Maryln.
Have you considered mailing your supplies to yourself at the destination?
I have done that numerous times. The remainder goes as a gift to the location
(art studio) rather than trying to save by sending it back. The next
artists really appreciate the gift.
Just a thought!

Bobbi asked about printing on fabric:
I have had the best luck with using regular (Jaquard) fabric painting
inks and dabbing them onto the block with a foam brush. After they've
dried, press with a hot iron. They have been washable, so far, and
some were printed years ago. In fact, one jumper has faded
considerably and really should go to the rag bag, but the printed
blocks are still as bright as ever! Go for it, it is a lot of fun,
and, if applicable, a great way to advertise your art work -
