I also use crayon rubbing for proofing. It's quick and easy. For multi
block prints I do the rubbing on tracing paper and you can see the good or bad
news and make adjustments.
When we share info it's helpful to write whether you use water -based ink
or oil, wet or dry paper, press or baren..
