Hi Robert and welcome. Barbara is right as always, the Baren site has a wonderful encyclopedia with volumns of information on Hanga. I do have a beautiful book called, THE ART AND CRAFT OF WOODBLOCK PRINTMAKING, Woodblock printmaking with Oil-based inks and the Japanese Watercolour Woodcut. Kari Laitnen, Tulla Moilanea and Antti Tanttu are listed as authors. I am far from a great hanga person and highly suggest 2-3 blocks for the first attempt. Be precise with your kento marks, that will assist you a lot. Take your time and remeber to enjoy your art, have fun!

Hello Bareners,
My name is Eric Hagstrom. I've been "lurking" in the shadows reading
the forum for a month. I'm an artist who is experienced in the western
woodcut printmaking, but have been enthusiastically and agonizingly
experimenting with moku hanga recently. I'm very inspired by the
Ukiyo-e woodblock artists. I also carve wooden marionettes. Some of my

My name is Viza -- I've been lurking for about a week now but I've signed up for the exchange so my lurking days are over.
I am both excited and scared this will be my first attempt at moku-hanga. Lately I have been working on woodblocks printed
with a baren and using chine colle for the color areas.
