fellow bareners,

just wanted to let you all know about an event that is coming up in san francisco on september 24th from 10am to 4pm. the san francisco center for the book is doing their second annual "Roadworks:Steamroller Prints". they have sixteen artists who will be carving 3x3 foot blocks of linoleum which will then be inked and pressed using an actual steamroller. i was a volunteer at last years event and this year they have invited me back as one of the artists. i'm hard at work on my block (its HUGE!... i've never carved something even near to this size.)

anyway if you are curious about the event here is the link to their web site http://www.sfcb.org/php/event.php?id=t2-092405-evt and if any of you bareners are in the bay area stop by if you are free, its a fun event, and introduce yourself....i'll be one of the people driving the steamroller!!

It is scheduled for the week of Aug 14th at this time....in Vancouver WA, right next door to Portland OR. If this changes we will inform the list immediately....but so far this is the date.
