Hello Aimee,

No Sorry about that! There are 15 of us going to be staying at the Le
Casacce Hotel near Monte Amiata for the week but it is a painting trip
not a printmaking trip, although I may use some of my images at a later
date. The "Teacher" who is leading the group is one that used to teach
at the same college I went to but I was never in her class.... she
started having workshops during the holidays and I joined in there on
watercolour and gouache and pen and ink and wash and I have been with
Leonie for a good 10 years now. A group of us often go away into the
country of WAust to B&Bs just painting on weekends...... two or three
times a year (or as many as we can afford!)

Leonie is going to be opening my printmaking exhibition in October
although she is not a printmaker.

I enjoy these weekends because they give me the freedom to experiment
with paint.

Our painting places, tours and meals are organised each day already and
we virtually don't have to pay for anything but souvenirs while we are
there..... that will mean lots of postcards for me!

I am sure it will be fun.

Are you travelling around Tuscany or going for art, cooking or
leisure.....hot spring type of trip? It would be nice to be able to
meet up..... keep in touch off line Aimee if you wish.....we'll fill
the others in later...... we don't want to make them green with envy!!

Hello All,
This is my first attempt to join in the conversation on baren. I haven't
participated yet in an exchange, but find the Tengu theme interesting. It
would seem to me that it would still allow for everyone to express their
own particular taste and could actually be quite revealing as to the way
different artists think.
