Every day I am accosted by 1 to 3 credit card applications in the mail. I
have found one thing to make this slightly more tolerable. They often contain
surrogate plastic credit cards. I find those cards to be very useful as
disposable tools on my inking table. They are especially useful in picking â"boogers",
from my ink, roller and off my board. They also work to scrape ink off the
spatula. Another hint, the â"pre-approved", application must be destroyed to help
prevent identity theft. I now tear them in half and recycle half in magazines
and the other half in the business paper bin.

The paper is useful for papier mache ... if you want to try some 3 dimensional art.

Hi Robin, I'm curious about the films you took at my house. Is there
any way I can get to see them? I'd love it. Ruth

Hi gals!
Give me a week to go through and transfer them to other formats -- the
main shots i took were on hi-8 so they are not digital -- i can transfer
them to digital for the dvd purpose- some of the footage will make the
grade unless i really did a poor job-
but for you two maybe i can also put the unedited raw footage on a VHS
tape - tell me you both still have VCR's so i don't send you something
you can't use- and send me yr addresses offlist so i can mail them. As
you may have guessed by now, I sometimes supply fuel and sometimes
spark in vain- when you know i have some fuel its good to light a fire
under me.
Thanks to both of you for such hospitality when i came down there. I
have been so busy just lately i haven't even been able to make trouble
at after 5!
Expect to hear something from me by next weekend on this.
In my printmaking exploits, i finished my second page for our
letterpress class today- printed the engraving and text in Pantone 300
blue and then hand-painted each one in akua color to make a duotone
effect on a sort of buff paper. It looks nice! Vandercooks are really
great for this type of thing (pun intended).
That reminds me, i sent ten puns in to a contest in the local
newspaper, hoping to win a prize, but no pun in ten did.

Believe it or not...Exchange 23 was mailed out 12 minutes and 48 seconds ago
in a very friendly (really!) post office.
All packages went out USPS Priority Mail, all world packages went out Global
Express; everyone should receive their prints within a week or soish.
Thank you all for your contributions and again! for those little extras that
really help the coordinator keep going.
