I just wanted to compliment Darrell for taking time to analyze and fix Nancy's problem. This in turn let me see a beautiful woodcut.

It is refreshing to see so many giving personalities on this list when so many others are dominated by flame warriors.

Nancy,
I was able to view the woodcut and the note, but alas, I have nothing
more than that to contribute. It is a lovely woodcut, though, and
appears to have been done by someone who knew what they were doing. I
will look back through my stuff (ha!) and see if I can find the email
address I had for Sasha, who at the time (1997) was the director at the
Academy for Practical Arts - or something like that, it was pottery,
jewelry and the graphic arts in St. Petersburg. He might know if we
can locate him! I tried several times after I returned from that trip,
but the Russian phone system & email & websites were still pretty
rudimentary and I was never able to get a response. My letters were
gobbled by cyberspace.
