Dave,
I read the digests out of order and could not imagine what Hanga Manga was. Now I know and I think it is wonderfu! Where were you last week when I was wrapping my first baren? I couldn't find the sight which showed me step by step, so went from memory - and while I forgot a step of two, it turned out fairly successful and at least tight enough for me to use. Now I can't wait to get back home and use it - but for now I am happy to be in North Dakota where it is incredibly warm for this time of year and I have all winter clothing with me. (I never seem to get here with exactly the right thing --) The grand daughters are delightful and I will be doing printmaking with a first grade class this Thursday.

First graders- how fun. i used to love working at my kids school we had
them in co-op nursery and alternative 1-8, so i worked once a week or
more with kids for the 12 years.
I wasn't as into art at the time as now...I would sing them songs with
my guitar or do whatever the teacher wanted.
Georga was just involved in doing something like that-, how did that
go, georga?

hi robin and everyone
my printmaking experience has been with high schoolers some of them are
incredible we have done lino blocks and our next project will be
collagraphs or alumigraphs ill try to post the results
