If you've tried to visit http://www.barenforum.org during the past 24
hours, you've probably noticed (as I have) that it is
"unavailable"... Turns out we missed our domain renewal (same thing
happens when you don't pay your electric bill, I suppose), but I think it's
all straightened out and the site should be back on-line as usual within 24
to 48 hours...

In the meantime, you CAN access the site using the IP address:
http://216.92.245.68

Hi, georga -- everyone can still access the baren forum site at
http://216.92.245.68 -- when you do, you'll see your name is #8 on the
participant list (which is current)... Everything still works, you just
can't 'find' the site from your web browser using "barenforum.org" right
now -- you have to use the IP address (those numbers I've typed in above)...

Anyone wishing to sign-up for #23 who hasn't already done so may complete
the sign-up here:
http://216.92.245.68/exchange/exchange_sign-up.html and I will receive your
information and add you to the list...

A further note about sign-up while our site is available through IP access
only at http://216.92.245.68/exchange/exchange_sign-up.html -- when you
submit your sign-up form, the system will be unable to find the 'thank-you'
page (as it's looking for the page on "BarenForum.org") and you'll get an
error page in response, but --- never fear --- your sign-up almost
certainly went through just fine... If you're really worried about it,
just send me an email with the subject: Exchange 23 signup addressed to me
at mikelyon@mlyon.com and tell me your:

Name:
Email:
Whether you'd like to coordinate the exchange (Y/N/Maybe):
and Comment:

don't forget to put "Exchange 23 signup" in the Subject line of your email
(so I can locate it if it winds up in my JUNK folder) and I'll process it
when I receive it.

A funny (or not so funny) thing happened this morning. When I try to get to the barenforum or the mall, I get a message that it 'can't be found'! ' Bad Gateway'..etc.. Even in the google search, same message. Where did it go?
