Hi Cindy in Spokane,
Hope you will come on as an alternate ...... got the 30th sign up just before your message popped in. If history is any indication there will be several dropouts before the Due Date of Feb.1,2005. Let me know.
One of these days we will have to meet. Finally met Carole Carroll ( she lives in Seattle) and it "was a good thing". If you come over here to visit Dan Smith let me know. We could either meet at DS, in Issaquah, or here ( a little out of the way).
Sometimes I think all Washington State printmakers are polarized. I know they are out there but we don't seem to have any organization. Strange, there are potter groups, painter groups, pastelists, etc. .... but the closest thing we have to a forum is the Northwest Printers in Oregon. Not that I'm that much of a group person .... just that it would be nice sometimes to sit down and talk prints.... even do a show and tell.
Oops! I'm rambling.
Regards,
Barbara P.
StoneMetal Press is interested in having a Japanese Woodblock demo and class.
Is there anyone close to San Antonio interested in teaching? contact me
off-group if you are or if you have a recommendation.
