Hi Baren People!
I live in sunny Sydney in the dry land of Australia. I have been a collector of Japanese and Chinese woodblock prints for a while and have decided to take the plunge and make my own. I should know better. I am another Newbie, not yet given trainer wheels, as I am waiting on a box from Japan, full of what you need to make prints. Everything other than something to actually carve. I am thinking of using plywood from the local timberyard. Something with a nice deep top ply, I guess. My first design will show my puppy Bert having swallowed a bone. X-ray vision. Hopefully I will have the print done before his shaved fur grows back.
