Maria,
The puzzle prints arrived in Sacramento yesterday. Bravo baren! They are
magnificent. I will be showing them along with three of the calendars and
the Year of the Sheep/Ram prints in a special window display sometime in
May. I cannot praise them enough. Maria and Barbara, we cannot thank you
enough. Now, if the deck of cards were to arrive within the next month or
so, my cup would runneth over...
Thoroughly delighted

A brilliant concept and a wonderful, cooperative venture.
The item of "academic interest", however, must be resolved soon.
Congratulations to all concerned.

We walked to the post office on our way to the woods on the edge of
town. We found a notice in our post office box that something was too
big for the little letter box, so we went inside to the main desk and
exchanged our notice for that long triangular tube from Maria.
Instead of the woods, we marched ourselves home and opened the box.
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. What a wonder it turned out to be.
I want to frame one of these, and I have just the wall for it, but
mainly I can't wait to share this with the community. I have to show
this.
Since I don't trust my own framing skills, I hope to have it framed
professionally soon.
Thank you very much Maria, you amazing woman you, and Barbara, you too
for your generous contribution of time and labor helping Maria get
these printed.

A great big thank you, maria. It was a wonderful idea and i know how
much work you had to do to put it in the triangled piece of cardborad and mail it
out to us happy baren campers.
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maria,
My puzzle prints arrived today, also, and I am thrilled. I nearly had
a stroke trying to get them out of the carton - they were really wedged
in that tube and my excitement didn't help the matter any :-) They are
relaxing creekl side as we speak. I just wish they would all order the
same drink. Between mixing margherittas (hold the salt), fuzzy navels,
pink ladies, and one double scotch over ice with a water back, I will
be frame shopping -)
Thanks to all who participated to make this a successful project and
especially to Maria for EVERYTHING and to Barbara who, at her own
expense, flew to the aid of the party and helped print. You are
amazing women!
Happy Printing,
Sharri
Hello everyone,
I realize this sort of question has been answered many times before but try
as I might searching the archives I couldn't come up with what I was after.
I'm looking for paper recommendations...for a beginner in the hanga
tradition who wants to gain some experience with fine paper without breaking
the bank. You'd be right to tell me to just buy a range at mid-price and go
with what I like, but I just can't resist learning an extra something from
the collective wisdom...
Effusive thank you's in advance,
Gonzalo
Try Baren Mall paper #23 -- not too expensive and pretty decent paper so
long as you don't over-print the same area more than 5 to 7 times --
eventually that will 'pill' the back of the paper... The Yamaguchi from
Baren Mall is more costly but much stronger and better.

Maria,
I got my prints today...and also had a time getting them out of the box. I forgot how wonderful they were, and I was there! Thanks for all your efforts on this, it was great fun to help a bit at the end but my small bit was nothing compared to yours!
Congrats on a job well done!
Best to all,
Barbara
