Baren Summit Northwest U.S., 2006

I think everyone will agree on the tremendous success of the Hanga Intensive in 2003 in Mike Lyon's Kansas City studio. We had a blast, got some work done, found new friendships, learned a ton and...well, it WAS fun!!!

So again we are planning a wonderful get together and intensive learning bash, this time the energetic Sharri LaPierre has volunteered her space in beautiful Vancouver, Washington, just miles from Portland, Oregon. The following is again a tentative sketch of the get together and some questions we would like to pose to you, our prospective attendees, so we can gauge interest, participation and general wants and needs.

The sketchy details:

WHO:
Members of Barenforum.org. Registration will be limited - first come, first served.
WHAT:
A week-long Hanga (and other printmaking techniques) Intensive face to face exchange of expertise.
WHERE:
Sharri LaPierre's Studio in Vancouver Washington.
WHEN:
Five days from August 14th to 18th, Monday through Friday (to be settled after polling).
