Comments from the artist: Ripples, the small waves caused by the falling blossoms onto the blue silk waters of the sea, ponds, and rivers that enrobe Japan; Waves that spread outward and the interconnection of events. Blooms that signal Spring, hope and rebirth. Cherry blossoms that are also atoms--petals orbiting an unstable center; the breeze caused by these petals can be felt across the world and will linger for one-hundred thousand years.
