Comments from the artist:

My appreciation for the beauty of Japanese woodblock prints grows each year and my admiration for the craftsmen who created those beautiful works is strong. It is a great pleasure to attempt to copy a master, it is how every artist learns. I think this is one of the best examples of the beauty of Japanese prints, simple images create lasting impressions. I am sure Hiroshige would not mind, since it is a noble cause.
