Artist's comments ... This print was made using the water-based hanga method. The blocks were 3 sanded basswood planks (5 sides)

1. black - keyblock
2. tan - background/yellow eyes
3. light brown - leaf shadows
4. pink - nose & ears / dark brown fur
5. gray - fur shadow

 
• Pigment: sumi, tube W&N watercolor
• Paste: rice flour
• Paper: Nishinouchi
• Registration: recessed kentos
• Barens: "Yoshida" and hand-made
