Comments: The inspiration for this print comes from the porthole window in my kitchen. My family has called it a "fish bowl" window since we moved in two years ago. I had already decided on a different image for the is exchange, but one morning, as I was watching the little birds hopping around picking at the seeds I left out for them, a thought occurred to me, bringing to mind that old saying, "A bird and a fish may fall in love but where will they live?" It was so whimsical and fun that I completely changed my idea and took off with this image in mind. Oh, I love being an artist!
