Air in a Moon Filled Night
This print is of the pattern of air during a moon filled night. In it's next reincarnation it will have a silhouetted tree second block. 

Although I am a printmaker and have works collected by museums, my blocks have always been pulled by a master printer. This exchange was a large lesson in appreciation of that printer. I was overly ambitious to do a two blocker using lino. I learned about inks, paper, powdered pearlescent colors, how lino can cut wrong when heated too much, how it can deform if ever dampened during cleaning and a host of other items! What an adventure to acquire hands on skills (or not) as opposed to intellectual ones.
