I always secretly wanted to be a farmer. Five minutes on my bike and I was amidst orchards, vineyards and dairies that stretched endlessly toward the mountains. Those images sank deep into my head and wove their way into my dreams and sometimes come out through my brush or knife onto a piece of wood.
