Once while sitting on tiny Whitehead Island off Grand Manan ,NB ,Canada , a great blue Heron landed, hung out for a while ,and then flew off . i Just happened to have my 400 zoom lens ready and shot alot of pics , hoping to use them in designing a woodcut . the rocks that surround Whitehead Island are white quartz - all this came together to answer the challenge/inspration of SURIMONO
