This project was probably one of the best times I've experienced in years.
I always thought I had stamina and energy, but I was chagrined by the work
ethic of Barbara, Sharri, Terry and of course, Mayor Maria! I had an
incredible time working with them and, boy, I learned a lot from these
veteran printmakers. And it was fun to make Baren more than just an online
forum by putting voices and faces with names. Sharri and Barbara were
wonderful hosts in the City of Roses. And a big thanks to Jane, from
Atelier Meridian for the use of her facilities (and time) and to Sharri's
son, Don.

While we were printing, much discussion was spent on what will be Maria's
next project. A lot of ideas were bantered around.

A couple of things I would like to stress for the next project is 1) Follow
the directions! Carve the correct side of your block, get them back to the
coordinator on time and understand that your printmaking style will not
necessarily print the same as the artist's blocks next to yours. 2) Don't
be cheap! This is an expensive project that becomes affordable when
everyone pulls their weight. 3) Come out and help in the printing. You
will get more out of it than it will cost you. We have an incredible
community that grows better when we get to know each other.

Enjoy the day.

I certainly have many stored prints. Not enough wall space even tho' I rotate the art. I'll bet everyone here is in the same boat. So I'm proposing that we designate a day that we all remember to pull those prints out of the dark and share with someone, or even just savor the thrill all alone. If we had a print viewing day designated that we would all remember and participate in it might help us remember to do it. Whenever I do go through all (or some) that I have collected I am very energized. So this could be a very selfish suggestion. What do you think?

Dear Sir/adam:

Please remove my name from the group. I have had my email address compromised.

I will rejoin in the near future.

Thank you

I took the note on Gretchen's address off a few weeks ago. Louise,
you must have copied the list before that. I also made a small
correction on Senol's address.

I would like to get the addresses in the older zodiac animal
exchanges updated, as a few people have moved and lots of people are
late getting their prints out.

If you have moved after signing up for any of the past exchanges,
please check on the participant lists to see if your address is your
present one. Let me know and I can change it on the list.

Remember, it is never to late to send you prints.

I have received 14 dragons, prints so far and 13 are in the gallery:
