Any Baren members wishing to join the Nature Printing Society for a change
in pace?

Our annual workshop in Fort Collins still has some openings; you have to
become an NPS member to attend but that's easy enough. Come on out and have
fun!

Check out the website below for all the info.,

To all,

Life being life, we find ourselves with two available slots for the 2011 NPS
Workshop in Fort Collins. Anyone wishing to sign on will need to download
and complete the Reservation Form
(Acrobat
Reader required) as soon as possible and return it to Bee Shay as per
instructions. A deposit of $50.00 US will be required at that time. You
may send your deposit check along with the form to Bee, or you may pay your
deposit via our 2011 Workshop PayPal
link. The
latter will include a 4% processing fee for a total of $52.00 US per person,
but you will still need to send the Reservation Form to Bee Shay. These
slots will be filled on a first paid/first served basis. After we fill
these availabilities, we will begin anew the Waiting List.

There are still slots available for some of the great classes coming up at
this year's event. If you're interested in what open, please email Bee Shay
at bee.shay@hotmail.com .

The annual NPS Workshops are offered only to current members of the Nature
Printing Society. Become a member and join the adventure.

Subject: Mystique Series #14 : work begins
Posted by: Dave Bull

And not just 'begins' ... not too far from being 'done'! :-)

Things have been kind of busy here this week, what with the initial shipments of the Senshafuda prints going out the door, and I've been delinquent. Not with the work, but with keeping you up-to-date on it!

Anyway, that's easily rectified, with some snapshots from my bench this afternoon/evening.

When I cut/printed the previous print - Mystique #13 - I left space on the blocks for this one, so on the key block you can see #13 on the left (covered in sumi), and freshly carved #14 on the right:

I've been on hiatus from printing.  It was time for the twice-yearly poetry collection I edit (my 40th edition), but it goes to press today and I'm free to carve again.  ;-]
