Dear Maria - thanks for taking the time to explain puzzle prints. They look like fun to do. I have been mulling over in my mind interlocking shapes in lino for a project. I recognized many of the names on your "map" from posts. Happy Holidays, Carol

Maria,
If you are organizing another puzzle project, I'd love to get in on it! I missed the Cairn project and have been sad about it ever since....

Not woodblock stuff, but I think you will find the imagery so amazing
enabling you to see in closeup detail the Sistine Chapel
You can manipulate your left hand mouse button .. to move 360
degrees ..... and the wheel button to get close up. Amazing
technology. All this and no crowds....
Sistine Chapel was certainly on my list to visit ... well maybe not now.

Graham,
I have been there and it is so much smaller than it looks, it is a chapel, not a
full church. There was a wall about 8 feet tall about the middle across the
chapel from side to side made of wood with a door that we walked through. It is
not in this photo, I wonder if it is really still there or if someone
photoshopped it away....I remember the guard yelling at everyone to be quiet. I
also remember getting dizzy looking up at it. It is not quite as high as this
photo makes it look, but it is amazing. Thanks for the memory. If you really
want to see it well, you have to get the book of the close up photos, the one
before and after the restoration is pretty startling.
My best
Barbara

Will have a sign up form in a couple of weeks!
I'm so excited, I have a great theme: "City of the World" and a pretty cool
super-secret design to go along.
This will be also open to non-Bareners so I'm expecting 100+ participants.
COOL!!!

Maria
