Blot up all you can... what is the base of van son ink? If oil based ink, I
would try some extender , then soap and water.
But the best thing is to call come carpet professionals and beg them to tell you
how to get it out. Almost anything can come out of wool carpet, the trick is to
use the right thing to remove it

Hi, Jenny,

Sorry about your misplaced ink!

We've had good success using the product 'Simple Green' (from
the hardware store) in removing ink from clothing in the
classroom. The sooner you use it the better!

On a carpet, I'd try it on a scrap first, in case it also
changes the color of the carpet! We haven't seen a change in
color, but we haven't risked a carpet, either!

If you don't get it out, your carpet company will know how to
remove a small area of your carpet and replace it with a 'patch'.

Best wishes,
Sharen

I got to see your presentation today, Dave. Thanks for putting a link on your website for all of us who didn't get a chance to see it live. What a fine, informative piece which shows well how your diligence has created an expert who is ever-learning. Along with everything else interesting about the video, I, too, like the flask of water to diffuse light. It looks ancient and romantic as well as practical.

David, I saw it! No TV programme could
capture the enormity of your dedication to explore and learn Moku Hanga. NHK however
did a creditable job of showing some of the difficulties and the romance of your
incredible venture. Thank you for making it possible and I hope you'll be able to use that old craftsman's knife sometime soon.

With best wishes - Audley Sue Wing.
