Annie,
I will be in Seattle that weekend so I will definitely be at the
opening! I can't wait to meet you and see your prints in person.

This is kind of printmaking. I've done rubbings of shoe soles. Some
are very interesting. Born, or instance had trees for a while. I'm
surprised that some of the manufacturers haven't put "sole (soul)
prints" on t-shirts.

Merrills are my favorite shoes, too. They are super comfy and worth
the price. I have a pair I've been wearing for about 5 years and they
show no signs of wearing out. I guess you can tell I am not a
fashionista!

Cheers ~

Hi Viza,

I dropped my son off at pre-school today at the Community Building in
Spokane on Main & Browne and saw a group of your prints on display in
the lobby. Very nice work...

Exchange #45, the Map Exchange is now online for your viewing pleasure.

(Welcome back Wouter!)

http://www.barenforum.org/exchange/exchanges.html

Also, please note important stuff!

I have changed the way I do the galleries so coordinators only have to send
me one image sized 1000 pixels of each print, named after the participant's
last name. It's a lot easier for coordinators. I have simplified the
instructions on the coordinator's information page; the changed part is
under SCAN THE PRINTS:

We're caught up!

Maria

Subject: Mystique Series - #7 - printing stages 5~6
Posted by: Dave Bull

Another two stages today ... not a very productive pace, but there are other jobs happening too ...

Here's the base colour for the leaf. Actually that's not really true, as we've already had a 'base' - the previous grey tone. (This is not going to be a very 'happy' leaf!

Next up is the tint on the tree trunk. As we will see later, this is actually a night scene, so there are going to be a lot of different greys involved. But I don't think the overall effect will be too gloomy ... we'll see.

(At the same time as these have been building up, impressions on the 'partner' print have been accumulating too, and that print now has four stages done. We'll get to see that one next month ...)
