Linda, nice article and congratulations on the grant/funding. I
really enjoyed seeing the photo of you with one of your prints. I
hadn't realized that you're working at a pretty large scale. And

Congratulations on the article. The print looks great, too.

Please keep us all informed on the progress of your set of prints.

This may sound like a daft question, but have you considered using the water
from the Shiawassee to create the prints; by boiling it first, and then
using it when you mix your pigments? The idea of actually having the river
impressed into the prints would be an interesting artistic statement. I'm
planning a series of prints based around the river that runs through my
local area, and I'm considering the same idea.

NSW scented Rosewood isnt too bad to use. I would like to find other Aussie wood also. I have some Acacia, unknown type, that is extremely hard, and I have not attempted it as yet.
