Hi Kristine
You completely scared me away with a Nov 1st deadline, but Feb 1st could make it possible for me to participate.

I really like the idea of LETTERS, and especially other languages as well as English. I would like letters as such, in any way, but not the formal everyone-take-a-different-letter type of exchange.

As to the reduction technique, my question to myself is "am I ready to try it?" It would be a good opportunity to learn it.

Exchange 43 is truly knocking at the door. ...
With these specifics in mind, let's open a discussion for a few days on ideas for a theme.


I like the letter/alphabet theme best, the idea of any kind of letters, either singly, grouped as an image, etc... Illuminated would be a challenge but wonderful ideas float through my brain...

I'm a fan of the No Theme and 3-Color Reduction as Technique idea.

However, if I had to pick from the two previous ideas, I would prefer the typography over Illuminated Text. I think requiring gold could be a bit limiting for some folks.

My vote for #43 is a theme of Typography (letters in any artistic form).

reading the theme and technique suggestions with interest, let me ask (i
am not that familiar with the English language): does typography include
numeral figures (or numbers? which is the correct word)?
I already have an idea in mind... so therefore both will be ok for me.
