If you have wondered about the importance of art here is a great
article about the current art scene, or lack thereof, in Iraq:

Absolutely. I find that the delicate parts need my total concentration.
Not only that, it needs me to clench my teeth, apparently!

Marilyn...
I wonder if a sign would do for those times you're so brave and intrepid as
to do art in public. Not that it would cure all of visiting. Something like
"shhh, artist busy at work. Please sign the guest book." That way you'd not be in
trouble for soliciting customers yet would give those happy folks somewhere
to write their comments and maybe make a sale later?

I once was painting studies at Bryce Canyon when a tour bus stopped. It was
fun, even though the hands and fingers went between my face and my canvas. It
was uplifting and totally interruptive but so well meant. I should have had a
sign up book as everyone was ever so kind to me and encouraging....

Love hearing these stories.

Hi, Maria - I have read all the exchange about drawing and wanted to ask you what exhibits online you watched that started your initial comment. Can you post the url? Sincerely, Carol Montgomery, Helena, MT

Julio - thanks for mentioning the Endangered Species series - I was unaware of Warhol's interest in this area - the prints look gorgeous (you're fortunate to have seen the 10 of them) - and here's a link to the only site that has them all which I found after a search...........

Thank you very much.

Some are wood (cherry(psalm 11), cheap plaque (psalm 6)), but most are lino
(psalm 8,9,10).

I'll be updating it soon with details.
