I´m Cleber Alexsander. I live em São Paulo, Brasil. I graduated in History

Thank you David! I had no idea on how to fix this problem... having emailed
Julio privately more than once without response.

MUCH appreciated!

You're welcome. Julio's a very helpful guy, so I'm sure he must have plenty on
his plate right now!

Cheers,

Exchange #36 over and done!
Mail your prints NOW if you have not done so. Carole Baker is on top of it.
Thank you Carole for your excellent communication with participants.

Exchange #37 sign-up is now CLOSED. Let's get printing!
The information page has been updated with the latest drop-outs and
sign-ups. Please keep this page handy in your bookmarks.

I will be coordinating the double-exchange so ALL prints will come to me. I
decided to do this just to see what a double-pain (er, delight) it would be
to coordinate a double-exchange for future reference. Also, since many of us
are sending an extra print for the Wanda Robertson Memorial Portfolio, I
thought this might be a bit easier than me getting extra prints from two
coordinators, agh.
Thank you those of you who volunteered to coordinate, your names are duly
noted and will be welcomed in subsequent exchanges.
Anyhow, your friendly coordinator eagerly awaits your excellent works.

*

Medium: Woodblock print (hand rubbed or pulled on a press, B&W or colour,
any pigments, any paper). Note: The Baren Exchange is a program for forum
members to create, exchange and display editions of woodblock prints. Relief
prints pulled from wood substitutes and wood-like materials, including
linoleum, corian, MDF, resingrave, and similar are acceptable as are
collagraphs. Coordinators are obligated to reject prints whose primary
method of production is by other means. For example: monotype, intaglio,
stencil, lithography, ink jet, laser, photocopy, etc are to be rejected by
the coordinator.
*

Theme:Voyages/ Journeys (Optional dedication to the memory of Wanda
Robertson)
*

Image size: no restriction
*

Paper size:chuban 10 x 7.5 inches (25.5 x 19cm)
*

Paper type: no restriction
*

Registration period: One month starting April 1, 2008
*

Drop-out deadline: July 1, 2008 If you must drop out of the exchange, please
do so as early as possible in order to give people on the waiting list time
to complete and submit their prints. If you drop out after this date then a
penalty

may be imposed.
*

Delivery deadline for finished prints: August 1, 2008 -- if you do not
deliver acceptable prints by this date then a penalty

may be imposed.

Lastly...

ATTENTION: NON-BAREN exchange announcers!!!
Please use NOT AN OFFICIAL BAREN EXCHANGE in your text somewhere so that we
may distinguish between Baren exchanges and those organized by other groups.
I'm not at all against other exchanges being announced in Barenforum but I
am receiving emails from confused participants about ancillary exchanges.
Thank you so much!

Maria

Relieved of my coordinating volunteer duty. . Nice!

I 've started on 37a.

Penalty!? That's a good idea I hope I'm not part of.

EXCHANGE 36 UPDATE

The deadline to deliver prints to me is extended 2 weeks to May 14,
2008. This is FINAL. Prints received after the 14th will be
returned (if sufficient return postage is enclosed) and a penalty may
be imposed. Exception will be made if delayed in the mail.

Since I haven't heard otherwise, I am pretty confident that all but
one of you will have your prints in the mail today. I really
appreciate that despite some illnesses and hardships you have made
efforts to get them to me as quickly as you can.

A few of you have been concerned that prints you mailed aren't here
yet. Not to worry. I will tell you when they get here and trust
they will. At any time, it takes mail longer to get here from the
lower 48 than it does from point to point down there. Our post
office serves Glacier Bay National Park and this is the time of year
when all the seasonal workers are coming back and mail much of their
stuff for the summer. All the mail is brought in small planes from
Juneau. I suspect things are backed up and was going to ask the post
master today if that was the case but he seemed a bit disgruntled.
